FOOTWORK STUDIO - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Studio Hours & Availability
The studio is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm. Weekend bookings may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability, and cannot be booked using the online form.
Occupancy
The studio accommodates up to 3 people for recording, plus up to 3 non-recording individuals. This limit must not be exceeded without prior written approval.
Booking Time
Your booking must include all setup, takedown, and file transfer time. Sessions start and end at the times booked. Late arrivals do not entitle you to extra time.
DIY Package
The DIY package is available only to experienced users of broadcast studios. We require a description of your experience before confirming the booking. Approval is at Footwork Media’s discretion. We reserve the right to rescind DIY booking privileges if competency is in doubt.
DIY Equipment Use
If booking the DIY Package we will provide a basic equipment overview during your first session. You are responsible for ensuring proper operation of all equipment, including recording settings and formats. Footwork Media is not liable for user error or poor-quality recordings unless due to equipment failure.
Access to Huddle Co-working Spaces
Studio rental does not include access to Huddle’s co-working areas unless you have a valid membership or day pass arranged directly through Huddle.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the start time will be charged in full.
Use of Equipment
Equipment is provided in good working order. No guarantee is made regarding its suitability for your intended purpose. You may not remove equipment from the premises. Damaged, lost, or stolen equipment will be charged at full replacement value. You agree that Footwork Media may charge your card for such losses.
Studio Condition
You must leave the studio in the same condition it was found. Do not alter, decorate, or construct sets without prior consent. You are responsible for removing all rubbish and materials. If not, Footwork Media will handle clearance at your expense.
Studio Use Policy
The studio is for your exclusive use and may not be sub-let or used by third parties without written permission.
Age Restriction
All clients and guests must be 18 years of age or older.
Fees & Charges
By agreeing to these terms, you consent to all applicable fees. Overruns are charged in 30-minute increments and subject to studio availability.
Liability & Insurance
You agree to use all equipment safely and properly. Footwork Media is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse. You are responsible for any damage due to negligence. We recommend you obtain personal insurance for any equipment or property you bring to the studio.
Media Delivery
Media files will be delivered via Google Drive within 2 working days. The download link will remain active for 3 months. We do not offer alternative delivery methods. Edited files and raw footage for post-production will be stored for 1 year.
Noise Disclaimer
While the studio is acoustically treated, it is not soundproof. External noise may occasionally be audible. We take reasonable measures to minimise disturbances but cannot guarantee a completely silent environment.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Footwork Media, its staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the studio and services.
Force Majeure
Footwork Media is not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond our control, including weather, equipment failure, or power outages.
Data Responsibility
It is your responsibility to back up all recordings. Footwork Media is not responsible for lost data once files have been delivered.
Studio Access Guarantee
We only guarantee access to the studio for the time period booked.
Promotional Use
Footwork Media may capture behind-the-scenes content for promotional purposes. Clients may opt out by providing written notice before the session.
