Our friendly team will make you a barista-style coffee, tea, water or soft drink to get you through your recording.

Our engineer will live-switch between the different camera angles leaving you with a simple mixed-down file plus all raw files.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The studio is available to book via our online reservation tool from 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday (excluding UK public holidays). If you require an evening or weekend session, please contact us at studio@footwork.media to discuss availability.

  • Every booking includes a 15-minute buffer on either side of your allotted slot. This gives you time to arrive, settle in, and handle any setup before recording begins. To keep things running smoothly for everyone, please ensure you depart within your 15-minute wrap-up window to avoid overtime fees.

  • All bookings include a dedicated engineer to handle your microphones, lighting, and cameras. Your engineer will also vision mix your recording live, switching camera angles to follow the conversation. You’ll leave with a pre-cut, mixed-down file that significantly reduces your editing time. We also include all the raw files in case your editor needs to make any other adjustments.

  • We will transfer your raw audio and video files to you immediately after your session. Please bring a Solid State Drive (SSD) with at least 150GB of available space for a speedy transfer. If you prefer, we can provide Digital Delivery via Google Drive within two working days for a fee of £30 (inc. VAT).

  • No, the studio is fully equipped and ready to go. You only need to bring a Solid State Drive (SSD) to take your files away with you on the day, and any specific props or branding you want to feature on set.

  • We use broadcast-grade hardware to ensure premium quality:

    • Cameras: 3x Blackmagic Micro Studio 4K G2 cameras.

    • Video Mixer: Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro ISO.

    • Audio Interface: Rodecaster Pro.

    • Microphones: Your choice of Shure SM7B, Shure SM58, or Rode PodMic.

  • Absolutely. Both the Sofa and Table studios feature customisable shelving for your props and hooks for hanging framed artwork. However, we have a wide range of generic props/frames that can be used if you don’t have your own.

We also provide a TV screen in the background of your shot to display your logo or custom branding. You can upload your artwork during the booking process.

  • Our Sofa Studio accommodates up to 3 recording guests, and our Table Studio accommodates up to 2.

Both rooms have space for 1 additional non-recording guest. We are unable to house more guests than these limits allow.
